Simple Remedy is made up of some of the top musicians in Chicago.  The band members have combined their skills and musicianship to bring you one of the hottest new bands on the scene.  Covering Pop, Rock, Country, Reggae, Blues and R&B the audience is always left guessing as to what is coming next!

They are fronted by Kelly Nilsson, one of the hottest new female singers Chicago has to offer.  Her voice is hard to define as she is able to cover almost any artist we play.  Kelly is a rising star in Chicago - keep your eye on her!

Eddie Ryan is the former lead guitar player from Shades of Grey and has been performing both solo and with various bands in Chicago for over 15 years.  Eddie also splits the lead vocals with Kelly on select songs.  Eddie has played all over the midwest as a singer and guitar player.

The rhythm section is made up of two of the best musicians the South Side of Chicago has to offer.
 

Bill Larkin is a highly accomplished bass player and can play any style of music.  His bass lines are an essential part of our music and he brings a lot of talent to the table. 

Matt McGlynn is the backbone of the group on drums.  His unique style gives our songs an edge that brings the music we play to new heights. 

Our newest member, Jon Mateer is a skilled guitar player who can also play harmonia, banjo, mandolin and other instruments!  He has given us a well rounded guitar sound and is a good addition to the band. 

We cover such a wide variety of songs we find something everyone in the audience can connect with.  We don't have any musical limits! 

Kelly and Eddie already finished a CD of original music and the band will be writing new songs in te near future!
